Füsun Topuz was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1950. She lived in Istanbul, Izmir and Adana in Turkey as well as in Belgium, France and the United States. She was the President of Turkish American Association in Adana in late 70's and 80's. During that time she created workshops to teach English as a second language as well as Turkish to the airforce personnel from the NATO base in Incirlik.
She developed an interest in jewelry design in the late 90's while displaying her artwork in the lovely seaside town of Bodrum, Turkey. Between seasons, she created a large collection of hand knit items such as shawls and scarves.
She moved to the United States in 2002. Her work was displayed in many boutiques that carry European influenced clothing and jewelry in several states. She was the inspiration to our site and currently serves as our consultant.
Currently she lives in Istanbul with her Golden Retriever, Kopuk. She is also a mother of two.
You can enjoy her work in our Jewelry and Knits sections.
