Zeynep Gülalp Öztürk

Zeynep was born in Adana, Turkey in 1960. She graduated from Istanbul University with a Finance degree in 1982. Later in her career she developed an interest in metals and jewelry. She received extensive training from Prof. Dr. Seyma Ustuner on working with metals and jewelry design.

She displayed her first artwork in 1990 in a Jewelry Fair in Istanbul. In 1995 she started extensive training with Gulseren Dalbudak, a sculpture and jewelry specialist on wax design technique. With her new work, she participated in the Istanbul Jewelry Fair in 1997.

She worked in a jewelry design and manufacturing facility in the famous Istanbul Grand Bazaar in 2004 and 2005. She opened her first personal display in an art gallery with "Voices of Waves" in 2005.

She lives in Istanbul with her daughter and her husband.
